Built around one job: getting the right car out of Japan and to you.
Who we are
Marshall Enterprise is a Japan-based vehicle export company. We buy new and used cars in Japan and sell them to customers, dealers, and fleet buyers worldwide — sourcing, inspection, export documentation, and shipping handled as one continuous process.
Japan is one of the world's largest sources of well-maintained used vehicles, thanks to a strict domestic inspection system (shaken) that keeps cars in high condition, detailed auction-grading standards, and a market that turns over vehicles relatively young. That combination is what makes Japanese-market cars attractive to buyers across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Oceania, the Caribbean, and beyond. Marshall Enterprise exists to make that supply accessible to buyers who aren't in Japan and can't evaluate or bid on it themselves.
We work with individual buyers purchasing a single vehicle and with dealers or fleet operators sourcing in volume. In both cases the commitment is the same: we don't sell what we wouldn't stand behind, and we don't ask a customer to commit before they've seen a real inspection report and a landed-cost estimate.
Licensed dealer status
Marshall Enterprise holds a second-hand vehicle dealer license, issued under Japan's used-vehicle dealer regulations.
This license is what allows us to buy and sell used vehicles commercially in Japan, including bidding directly at the country's dealer-only auction houses — the same auctions used by domestic Japanese dealers, rather than a public marketplace with marked-up listings. It also means our business is registered, traceable, and accountable to Japanese commercial vehicle-trade regulation, which matters when you're buying a car you'll never see in person before it ships.
Second-Hand Dealer License No. 301122618845 (issued June 19, 2026).
What we source
Both new and used vehicles, matched to what a destination market actually needs.
Used vehicles. Sourced primarily through Japan's dealer auctions, where every vehicle carries a condition grade, inspection sheet, and mileage history compiled by independent auction inspectors — not by the seller. We review this documentation before bidding and again before a customer commits to buy, so the car you approve is the car that ships.
New vehicles. For customers who want factory-new stock, we source through manufacturer and dealer channels in Japan, including right-hand and left-hand drive configurations depending on availability and destination requirements.
Engine size, emissions rules, left- vs. right-hand drive, and age restrictions vary significantly by country, and we factor that into every sourcing recommendation rather than leaving a buyer to discover it after purchase.
Exporting worldwide
We ship by RoRo (roll-on/roll-off) or container to ports worldwide, and manage the export-side paperwork so the vehicle arrives with clean documentation.
That includes export certification, de-registration from the Japanese vehicle registry, bill of lading, and any destination-specific paperwork we're able to prepare in advance — reducing what lands on a buyer's desk once the vehicle clears customs on their end.
Auction purchase in Japan → inspection & customer approval → export prep at port → RoRo / container shipping → arrival at destination port → customs clearance by buyer.
How we operate
Three commitments guide how we work with every customer.
Approval before purchase. We don't commit your funds to a vehicle you haven't seen documented — photos, auction sheet, and estimated landed cost come before any purchase.
Transparent condition reporting. Auction grading and inspection reports are shared as-is, translated where needed.
One point of contact. The person who sources your vehicle is the same one who follows it through export and shipping.
